The Kompaszaal is a historical grand café-restaurant and well-known Amsterdam tango location (monthly milonga Tango 11) at the boarders of the IJ. This is where the ships used to sail to the U.S. in the fifties.

Bus 42 - From central station. Get out at Azartplein
Tram 26 - From Central Station. Change to tram 10 at Rietlandpark. Get out at Azartplein. Walk 2 minutes. At the end of building Loods 6 is the entrance to the Kompaszaal.
